The 3CX15000A7 electron tube is a Forced Air cooled, ceramic-metal, high-mu power triode containing a carbonization thoriated tungsten cathode. The anode dissipation power is 15KW max., the working frequency is 110MHz max.. Grid dissipation power is 500W max.. It is mainly used as a zero bias Class B RF amplifier or Class C power amplifier or oscillator. It is also recommended for use as a grounded grid FM amplifier. In addition, grounded grid operation is attractive since a power gain as high as twenty times can be obtained.
